This variety comes from Jaen (Spain).

This type of fruit produces oils with a high content of polyphenols, which provides excellent stability over time and a particular fruity flavor with notes of grapefruit.


When Picual olives are harvested with a low rate of maturation, its stability, fruity flavor and spicy and bitter notes allow the olive oil to be used for correcting “flat oils” (fruity, bitter and not spicy).
